The summarised version of the EuroMedi Report, by the economist Josep Reyner, has been published in English

In early 2020, Fundació Vincle published the EuroMedi Report: Analysis of the potential of the Mediterranean Euroregion and the constraints imposed on it, a comprehensive document of more than 200 pages prepared by the economist Josep Reyner. “This innovative compendium details the main economic and infrastructure discriminations inflicted by the Spanish State on the Balearic Islands, Catalonia and Valencia, an area we refer to as the Mediterranean Euroregion.” Then it received quite a bit of attention in the press.

In keeping with Fundació Vincle’s mission of dissemination, in June 2020 the 30-page summarised version of the EuroMedi Report was published, which was distributed in print form free of charge and can be downloaded digitally here

A few months later, the 60 sections of the EuroMedi Report were published in a series of articles—often in summarised form and updated with the latest data—in the Diari de Balears and to a lesser extent in the València Diari. Links to all the articles mentioned here can be found on our website.

Now, we are pleased to inform our readers that the summarised version of the report is available in an English translation, which you can download for free here. This English version is the same as the Catalan original, with some additional material that contextualises the problems facing the three territories in the Mediterranean Euroregion to make it more easily understandable for a foreign audience. Along those lines, a new justification and various new paragraphs have been added.
